Astrology Report

From ancient Mesopotamia (modern day Iraq),
to the far eastern Orient, north to the British
Isles and across the sea to the Regan
Whitehouse, astrologers have been consulted in
a number of ways. Initially horary astrology
was the purpose. Was it an auspicious time to
start a new campaign? What do the stars have
to say about the new Prince? Even one of the
most well known of British Monarchs, Queen
Elizabeth I, had her own personal astrologer in
John Dee. It is believed that Natal
horoscopes were beginning to be used by 500
BC. An ancient art, it shares its roots with the
hard science of astronomy. By no means meant
to be an in depth natal report it is intended
more to introduce you to your sign and help you
to get to do as the Oracle at Delphi (and, yes,
the Greeks did Astrology) always required
“Know Thyself.” Down through the ages both
Eastern and Western civilizations kept detailed

records of the movement of the stars. Through observation, detailed records
and the application of the archetypical long before Jung ever existed, astrology
has been used by paupers and princes as a guide for self-introspection,
auspicious timing for new endeavors, or to learn about the motivation of others
by studying their sign. Astrology, by no means the only answer, has been used
from the bedroom to the boardroom, from the coffee table of the living room to
the conference table of the major corporation. Through listening to the message
of astrology one may obtain help plotting an easier course.

Born under the sign of Taurus the Bull, you are strongly aligned with earth
energy and are grounded and solid in whom you are. Affectionate and quiet, a
picnic on the living room floor with a rented movie is more your idea of a great
date than going to the local multi-plex. The traits of the Bull run true in you
and your negative traits can be seen in such things as resistance to change,
stubbornness and arrogance.
The Bull rules the throat. Many Bull’s have lovely singing or speaking voices.
Conversely, when your life is out of sync you may be plagued with such
maladies as a sore throat or laryngitis. Colds and thyroid problems can be

The Emerald has long been associated with Taurus. Protecting against
infidelity and deceit it is the perfect protection for a trusting Taurus. One of
your dangers is that you expect everyone to be as grounded and honest as you
are, and that just isn’t necessarily so. The strength of protection from wearing
emeralds can help you balance this potential negative situation.
Your tastes are always a cut above. You are normally the first one seen in the
latest style (even if you did get it at a bargin bin or make it yourself). Your
sense of style and comfort is enough to make anyone comfortable. Your ruling
planet is Venus, Goddess of love and beauty. You use the creative gifts Venus
bestows upon you to make your life more full and rewarding.
Diligent and dependable it is rare when you let others down. If you give your
word those who receive it can take it to the bank because you will do all within
your power to ensure that you keep that promise. Just be judicious to whom
you commit so much of your energy.
You are true to your nature as a Bull. Normally placid and content to feed in
his field, the Bull is not a threat. However, when aggravated (and sometimes it
only takes an overly persistent horsefly) the Bull can reveal a nasty temper.
Sometimes quick to flash into a flame, the anger can be dissipated, but forgiving
and forgetting is difficult to your nature. In most respects you can hide your
anger, but those you trust may have the misfortune to receive the full brunt of
your fierce side.
Dependable as a partner and spouse, you can always be relied upon to do your
part and more. As a fixed sign you are more secure in yourself than most.
However, the down side is that change is more often than not difficult for you.
You may resist moving forward into your new existence because it is
uncomfortable to let go of that which you know is comfortable.
Although comfortable with your own company, being part of a team and
partnership through life is an essential element of what you crave in order to
create the home, hearth and family that you truly desire. Taurians should look
to Virgo or Capricorn for a strong love connection. With opposite Scorpio the
attraction of the opposites may be just enough to hold everything together for
the long term. Your most challenging associations will be with Leo and
Aquarius.
Although you may sometimes act like a bull in a china shop, you truly do have
the best of intentions. You have a great capacity of sacrificing for the greater
good, sometimes to the detriment of those whom you hold dear.
Organized, diligent, intent and caring Taurus is the sign of stability and
strength, honesty and integrity, and yes, some bullheaded stubbornness too.
But sometimes, that bullheadedness gives you the determination to push that
difficult project all the way through to the final reward.
