Horse’s strength and durability are honored in the

embodiment of vivaciousness and enthusiasm.  Just
watching a colt prance across the meadow in the
spring shows how apt the association is.   Horses are

having an excess of personality.  Bright and vivacious you normally arrive on
the scene and put the Par-rr-tay into any social outing.  Horse people are
naturally independent and are friendly and outgoing.  Ready to spark a
conversation or a conga line as the situation demands, the Horse personality
enjoys fun.  Highly intelligent with a sharp quick intellect they don’t suffer fools
well and can become impatient and even reckless when dealing with those they
feel “aren’t up to par.”  Horse people are normally friendly and by nature tend
to have a bright attitude about life.  Elegance coupled with fervor is a hard
combination to beat!

Horse people are fantastic employees.  Dedicated and determined they easily
apply their intellect in the business arena.  With the right partner, the sky is the
limit.  Horse people work well in teams, but the larger the team setting the more
difficult it is for the Horse person to want to fit in.  Those born in the year of the
Horse would do well to find employment that allows them the opportunity to be
outside.  Some good opportunities for Horse people are language teachers,
interpreters, journalists, tour operators, stewards, bartenders, publicists, camp
entertainers, show judges (amazing eye for detail) and just about anything
based in communications. However, if the Horse feels ignored he has no
problem using his skills of mobility to find somewhere he is appreciated.

Horse people are actually easy to please.  If your Horse friend is complaining
that life is getting a little dull and listless lately, here are some ideas to bring the
spring back to their step.  You could do the obvious and go for a ride on a
horse, or, on a horse and buggy if actual riding is beyond you.  An evening out
tripping the light fantastic (dancing) could well be the release a Horse person's
needs to be able to reconnect with their Equine Energy Source.  If you’re
stuck with what to get your Horse spouse for a holiday or birthday gift, try a
new mobile phone with all the bells and whistles.  A compass that can be used
while hiking or boating would hit a home run as well.  For the Horse in your life
who enjoys doing crafts, try the latest embroidery kit for a great holiday gift!
