26.  How come I never see you refer to a card as being “reversed?”
Our Tarot reading style does not make specific recognition whether a card is right side up or
upside down.  Honestly, we’ve been shuffling the cards for so long that it is a very rare occasion
when a card does appear reversed.  In our interpretations we take both the positive and
negative (reversed) aspects of the card into account.  As none of us are all good, none of us are
all bad either.  It is maintaining the appropriate balance between the two that is important.
Hence, in our readings we already incorporate some of the reversed aspect meaning.  Finally, in
the reading style we have developed over the years we have found that keying to the things that
leap out at us are the strongest messages, and, most often, the most correct.   So, while some
readers do make specific recognition of  whether a card is right side up or upside down, we do
not. This has been traditionally a personal choice of the individual cartomancer.
