She is on her knees in a supplicating position hoping to reach him. He ignores her and is ready to fight. But what good is a fight without honor. The sword is unsheathed, at the ready. His stance is not guarded but forceful and challenging. The stormy sky is emblematic of the obvious emotions surging through both figures on the card. |
