Western Elements

In astrology the signs are broken broken down into four and each is assigned one of the four western elements. By studying the meanings associated with the elements you can garner even deeper meaning from your chart.

When considering the elements in your chart you want to look at the balance (or lack of balance) between the four elements. Are the planets spread evenly between the four elements? Do you have a bunch of Earth planets and not many Air? The correlation between the elements speaks much to how a person acts and interacts with others.
