Ten-Staves (wands)

The man sits the joint throne with the flowers alone. Holding his head in his hands he seems unaware of the Stave that lays across his lap. Even though the potential of new beginnings shines bright in the gold colored bud at the end of the staff he is too overwhelmed with his personal hurt to see the potential of the future.

The Ten of Staves is often found in the spread of someone who is just trying to spread themselves too thin. You know what? The world won’t end if the laundry isn’t done!! It just might mean you have to get a little more creative with wardrobe choices. Don’t let the heavy feeling of the ten weigh you down too much. Striving to achieve a goal, especially a long range one, takes a dedication to the task that can at times be painful. This card shows that although into each life a little rain must fall, we can control at least some of the showers by making appropriate choices and decisions.
