The Priest

The-PriestA young Priest is surround by the formal trappings of his calling. He stands upon the high Alter. The carpet he stands on is laid out in the shape of a cross. The candles and alter cloths light his prayers. The Trine Qualities of the Divine are presented in the interlaced circles dangling from his praying hands and the wall decoration behind him. His robes are rich and multilayered signifying the traditional strictures of established religious code. Although a few steps higher on the top of the altar he is also “hemmed in” by the decorative rail work around the altar.

The Priest brings the traditional associations of mercy, caring and listening to your spread. If he appears you should assess and make sure you are giving proper time and space for spirit in your life. The Priest reminds us that ritualism has its place and helps us connect to those who have gone before us and those who have yet to come. Of course, the direct link to a leader in a religious or spiritual sense is obvious. The Priest is calling to you
to remember your compassion, remember to serve the greater good with an open heart. Maybe conformity (even if it does grate a little) will get you the job! The Priest warns about being overly generous (sometimes its okay to let people learn hard lessons they have set themselves up for). He speaks a warning against becoming too captive to one’s own ideas and plans – remember to leave space for the bounty of the Universe to come to you!
