Four of Swords (Spades)

The Four of Swords shows a sword, point up, amidst roiling clouds in the distance. Rolling hills of green and grey are below the sword in the sky. Behind the clouds, there is bright blue sky promising the end of the storm.

The scene is restful. The sword poses no threat as it is high above in the clouds, almost as if the sword is holding back the storm. The couple we have seen in the past two cards is not seen here. They have found a way to escape from the challenges and seek regeneration through rest and retreat from responsibility. The Four of Swords may also indicate that you need to return from your rest and tend your flock. Left too long it may disburse. Believe in the advancements, but consolidate gains before moving forward.
